« Excellences, ladies and gentlemen,

Thanks to give us a chance to say some words that are burning our Kabylian hearts. I was afraid to do not have this chance according to what happened yesterday. We are here to discuss about minority issues, so I will present here Kabylia issues and big problems.

Before to start, I would like to say a comment. I guess as almost a lot of us here, we are not minorities. We are minored instead by the regimes ruling our people. It is different.

Kabylia is more than 12 millions people and about 40 000 KM square wide. Kabylia is bigger than 60% of countries United Nations members in population point of view. Kabylia is larger than 30% of countries United Nations members in terms of territory. Kabylia has her own people. She has her own territory (country). She has her own culture. She has her own language.

So, you understand, we are not a minority. We are minored by regimes ruling our people. In more appropriate words, we are colonized. We are ruled by other people and other culture against our own identity, own values and own interests.

Not far from this week, the Algerian parliament decided to do not promote our mother tongue language. Even though, it is already positioned as a national and official language, in the Algerian constitution. But it is just for fooling the people and international community. The aim behind is to stop the progression of the Provisional Kabylian Government, which is gaining more and more adhesion and power in Kabylia ».
