On March 03, 2020, a delegation from the Kabyle Provisional Government in Exile (Anavad) visited Gdansk * in northern Poland, was received by the former President of the Polish Republic and Nobel Peace Prize laureate in 1983, His Excellency, Mr. Lech WALESA.

The President of Anavad, Mr. Ferhat MEHENNI accompanied by Mr. Aksel Améziane, the Diplomatic Representation of Anavad in France, pleaded the cause of the Kabyle people and their right to self-determination.

Mr. WALESA drew up a state of the situation of the international power relations and the ways and means necessary to bring to a successful conclusion the peaceful combat of Kabylia.

The exchanges between the two partners lasted one hour and allowed to identify convergences and perspectives of collaboration for the party of peace and international stability in the respect of the rights of each people.

(*) Gdansk is the city from which Lech Walesa, at the end of the 70s, beginning of the 80s, had created in the shipyards the union SOLIDARNOSC whose struggle changed the face of the world by making freedom triumph over the soviet dictatorship
