TURKISH AGGRESSION AGAINST THE KURDISH PEOPLE OF SYRIA STATEMENT FROM THE KABYLIAN GOVERNMENT
In the aftermath of the withdrawal of American soldiers from Syria, Turkey sent bombers and troops to occupy the Kurdish territory. The attack pushed back, for the moment by the valiant Kurdish fighters, made about fifteen civil victims.
It would be a criminal act of the West who, recently, came to defeat the ISIL ( The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) only thanks to the Kurds, to let them be massacred by Erdogan.
As a reminder, since the independence of Syria in 1946, this so-called “Arab” country has never considered its Kurds as its citizens and issued them neither passports nor identity cards.
The Kabylian people stand in solidarity with the Kurdish people. On their behalf and on behalf of the MAK and Kabyle interim government in exile, President Ferhat Mehenni condemns this Turkish aggression against Kurdistan. He calls on the international community to join forces against this criminal Turkish attack and provide lasting protection to the Kurdish people.
Long live free Kurdistan
