SITUATION AND CHALLENGES FOR THE AMAZIGHS OF LIBYA IN THE LIGHT OF RECENT EVENTS
The troops of the Amazigh National Army have just won a brilliant victory against the mercenaries of Marshal Haftar, by taking from them the airbase of El Watiya which they had held for six years, on 05/17/2020.
This success attributed by the international press to the National Alliance Government, which immediately claimed it, is indeed that of the Amazigh national army.
Geostrategists relegated to the background by the coronavirus pandemic leave the field open to real power struggles in the military field and their fait accomplice.
In this context of timely restructuring of international relations, Anavad welcomes this event and urges the Amazigh army to provide itself with an official framework on its territory which must be defended against all those who want to make At Willul and d’Ineffusen, a supply of cannon fodder and stooges of Islamism and / or Arabism.
The Amazighs of Libya have an interest in proclaiming their own political status while there is still time. It will be a prelude to a referendum on their self-determination.
