CHESS GAMES: KABYLIANS CHAMPIONS OF AFRICAN YOUTH CATEGORIES

The African Youth Chess Championship 2015

Young Kabylians shessplayers, by winning 7 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze, became champions of Africa, during the “African Youth Chess Championships 2015” for categories less than the age 08, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18. The championships took place from 6 to 12 December 2015, in the Zambian capital, Lusaka. Arrived behind the Kabylians, the South Africans (with 2 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze) and Egyptians (with 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze). The winners of each category are automatically qualified to the next World Chess Championship of Youth 2016 to be held in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia.

 

Boys 18: Abdelouahab OUARET (FM), born in 1998, the chess club Bougie (ECB) – Gold medal.

Boys 16 :Ahmed Nasr (CM), born in 1999, Esperance Sportive of Tizi-Ouzou (EST) – Gold medal.

Girls 16: Amina MAOUCHI (WFM), born in 1999, the chess club Bougie (ECB) – Gold medal.

Boys 14 : Massinas Djabri (CM), born in 2001, the chess club of Aokas (CFA) – Gold medal.

Boys 14:Sofiane ADRAR (FM), born in 2002, the chess club Cavalier Saldae Bougie (CBS) – , Medal.

Girls 14: Rania NASSR (WFM), born in 2002, Esperance Sportive of Tizi-Ouzou (EST) – Gold medal.

Boys 12; Sofiane ADRAR (CM), born in 2004, Esperance Sportive of Tizi-Ouzou (EST) – Bronze Medal.

Girls 12: Lina NASSR (WFM), born in 2003, Esperance Sportive of Tizi-Ouzou (EST) – Gold medal.

Boys 10: Safin BENYAHIA (CM), born in 2006, the Cavalier Saldae Bougie (CBS) – Silver Medal.

Girls 10: Lina CHABANE (WCM), born in 2005, the Pioneer of the Soummam Timezrit – Gold medal.

Girls 8: Imene KATI, born in 2007, the Pioneer of the Soummam Timezrit – Silver Medal
